Magnanimous Media hosted the International 48 Hour Film Project this year. Contacted by the producers of the 48 Hour Film Project, Magnanimous Media was presented with the unique opportunity to host the event and shoot a behind-the-scenes mini documentary.

The 48 Hour Film Project is an international competition that encourages both experienced and inexperienced filmmakers to get out there and make movies. The project emphasizes creativity and teamwork while rewarding versatility. To create a level playing field, participants are assigned a character, a genre, a prop, and a line of dialogue that must be integrated in the movie.

The 48 Hour Film Project has resulted in the production of over 20,000 films and has earned bragging rights for being one of the oldest and largest timed film competitions in the world! Their values are simple: teamwork, and doing instead of talking.

Find more about their mission here.

The 48 hour Film Project allowed people from all backgrounds to take on a challenge, create an original short movie, and (most of all) have fun.
