A vertical video is a video with a reversed aspect ratio. The larger, horizontal dimension becomes the vertical dimension, and what was previously the smaller, vertical dimension becomes the horizontal dimension. So instead of an image with a 16×9 aspect ratio, you will be creating an image with a 9×16 aspect ratio, effectively making the image taller than it is wide.
